How far can I see in complete darkness?

In complete darkness, the device requires the built-in IR light to be turned on to see up to 1968 ft away. Please note that actual visibility may vary depending on weather, foliage, and terrain.
How long does the battery last on a full charge?

It depends heavily on how you use the IR (Infrared) light. Benefiting from our massive 10,000mAh battery buffer, it lasts up to 22+ hours in daytime mode (IR off). If running continuously in complete darkness with the IR light maxed out, it provides around 7 to 8 hours of continuous power. Extreme cold temperatures may also affect battery performance.
Is the 850nm IR illuminator visible to animals or people?

The 850nm infrared light beam itself is invisible as it travels through the air, meaning it won't project a flashlight-like beam to illuminate the woods. However, it is NOT 100% covert. If you look directly into the front lens while it is active, you will see a faint red glow at the source. While most wildlife ignores this red dot, hyper-alert game at close range may notice it.
Why is my view blurry or out of focus?

Don't worry, your device is not defective. Digital night vision devices require manual focusing based on your target's distance. Simply rotate the front lens focus wheel slowly until the image becomes crystal clear. You will need to readjust this wheel whenever you switch between viewing close-up objects and distant targets.
Why is the screen completely white or blurry during the day?

If you are testing the device in bright daylight, please make sure the IR (Infrared) light is turned OFF. Running the IR light in daytime will overload the sensor and cause severe overexposure. The device works as a standard HD camera during the day without any IR assistance.
