Daytime use is supported. However, avoid pointing the lens directly at strong light sources (like the sun or lasers) to prevent damage to the internal sensors.
The IR illuminator emits invisible infrared light. Avoid looking directly into the emitter or pointing it at anyone's eyes at close range.
Allow the device to adjust to the surrounding temperature before use in extreme hot or cold conditions.
Children must use the device under adult supervision.
Inspect the device regularly to ensure all components are secure and undamaged.

Can the night vision device be used during the day?

Yes. The device can be used during the day and displays full-color images in daylight.
For best performance, keep the IR illuminator turned off during daytime use. Avoid pointing the lens directly at the sun or other intense light sources, as prolonged exposure may damage the optical sensor.

Can I use the device without the IR light?

Yes. During the day, keep the IR illuminator turned off. At night, the device can also be used without IR if there is sufficient ambient light, such as street lighting or nearby light sources.

Why is the image blurry?

Digital night vision devices require manual focusing. Rotate the front focus wheel slowly until the image becomes sharp. If you change viewing distance, simply adjust the focus again for the best clarity.

Why is the image blurry when using digital zoom?

Digital zoom enlarges the image, which may reduce sharpness at higher magnification. For the best results, refocus after zooming, keep the device steady, and increase the IR level when viewing in dark environments.

Can the IR light be seen by others?

Infrared light is invisible to the naked eye. Depending on the IR wavelength and the viewing equipment, it may be detectable by other night vision devices. When ambient light is sufficient, reducing or turning off the IR illuminator can help minimize visibility.

Can I use the device in the rain?

The device is designed to withstand light rain, mist, and accidental splashes during normal outdoor use. It is not waterproof and should not be submerged or exposed to heavy rain for extended periods. If the device becomes wet, dry it promptly with a clean cloth.

Is this a thermal imaging device?

No. TELUHA night vision devices are digital night vision products, not thermal imaging cameras. They use available ambient light or the built-in IR illuminator to provide visibility in low-light and complete darkness.

How do I clean the lens?

Use a soft, lint-free lens cloth to gently clean the lens. For stubborn smudges, lightly dampen the cloth with distilled water or a lens-safe cleaning solution. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals, as they may damage the optical coatings.

How should I store the device?

Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat. Avoid leaving it inside a parked vehicle or other high-temperature environments, as prolonged heat may damage internal components and reduce battery lifespan.

How long does the battery last?

Battery life depends on the model (5,000mAh or 10,000mAh), IR brightness, screen brightness, and operating conditions. Typical runtime ranges from 10–20+ hours. Higher IR brightness levels will shorten runtime.

How long is the warranty?

All TELUHA products include a 2-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects and component failures under normal use. The warranty does not cover normal wear, cosmetic damage, accidental damage, misuse, or water damage.
